Of Botany and Blind Dates

This past February, I was honored to participate in Story Story Night as a featured storyteller. The theme was "Weird Science" and, without completely sweating through my button-up, I relayed the story of a mad scientist from Eastern Oregon who set me up on a blind date with my future spouse. It was awkward and odd and funny (hopefully) and I'm hoping to get the chance to participate again.
